Panda? COME?

Saturday, June 17th, 2006

OMG, I seriously think Panda thinks his name is ‘COME’.Pan_skew

We had been putting a few tests for him, you know, by alternating btw calling him ‘PANDA’ and ‘COME’ to see which he responsed too…

Well…

He never responsed to Panda!

O K, to be fair…he did response to OO’s calling once, but honestly i wouldn’t count that in coz it kinda happened like this….=\

*Panda peacefully lying on the floor*

OO : pandaaaa…..

*Panda STILL peacefully lying on the floor :|*

OO : Panda!

*Panda without bulging an inch, jz rolled his eyes ( SWEAR he did it! 0.0 )*

OO : PANDA!!!!!!! ( very very loudly )

And that was when Panda did jump up and stare at OO like " WAT I MISS?! WAT I MISS?!!"…-.- hai, now u know wat i mean?

On the other hand, you just have to call ‘COME’ and Panda will gallop to your side, even though he’s hidden from view or far far away at that time…

Hmm…i guess there’s only 2 possible reasoning to this…

  1. He REALLY thought his name is ‘COME’ or
  2. He’s REALLY smart as in he knew that calling his name does NOT necessarily means you want him to come over…:)

Honestly, Panda being my dog and all that, so i really would not like to talk bad about him…

but ah, looking at the surrounding circumstances ( For eg, he still doesn’t ‘SIT’ instantly unless u hav food =\, still couldn’t really differentiate between ‘LIE’ & ‘HAND’, still refusing to hand me the toy after fetching it etc etc etc)…

Hmm…I think I would definitely vouch for NO.1…~.~

Just For You…& Me too…:)

Then it’ll be easier to remember! ^-^

< pssst….and we will only have to go through the awful thought process + agony of wat gifts to buy ONCE a year…GREAT isn’t it? ;p >

2 Mins News on World Cup!

Monday, June 12th, 2006

Found this in The Sun today.

On The Captain’s Wife’s trip this time to watch zee Hubby’s football matches in Germany…

" The World Cup trousseau of the England captain’s wife was reported to include 30 pairs of jeans, and trunkfuls of designer dresses by Roberto Cavalli and Chanel.

She is said to be limiting herself to FIVE changes of outfit a day"

er…=.="

World Cup Rules for Women…-.-

Saturday, June 10th, 2006

GOt this in my mail yesterday…

U probably hav seen it since its circulating fast….

But if u haven’t, MUST HAVE A READ…^.*

_______________________________________________________________________

LIST OF RULES

  • From 9th June to 9th July 2006, you should read the sports section of the newspaper so that you are aware of what is going on regarding the World Cup, and that way you will be able to join in the conversations. If you fail to do this, then you will be looked at in a bad way, or you will be totally ignored. DO NOT complain about not receiving any attention.
  • During the World Cup, the television is mine, at all times, without any exceptions. If you even take a glimpse of the remote control, you will lose it (your eye).
  • If you have to pass by in front of the TV during a game, I don’t mind, as long as you do it crawling on the floor and without distracting me. If you decide to stand nude in front of the TV, make sure you put clothes on right after because if you catch a cold, I wont have time to take you to the doctor or look after you during the World Cup month.
  • During the games I will be blind, deaf and mute, unless I require a refill of my drink or something to eat. You are out of your mind if you expect me to listen to you, open the door, answer the telephone, or pick up the baby that just fell from the second floor… it wont happen.
  • It would be a good idea for you to keep at least 2 six packs in the fridge at all times, as well as plenty of things to nibble on, and please do not make any funny faces to my friends when they come over to watch the games. In return, you will be allowed to use the TV between 12am and 6am, unless they replay a good game that I missed during the day.
  • Please, please, please!! if you see me upset because one of my teams is losing, DO NOT say “get over it, its only a game”, or “don’t worry, they’ll win next time”. If you say these things, you will only make me angrier and I will love you less.

Remember, you will never ever know more about football than me and your so called “words of encouragement” will only lead to a break up or divorce.

  • You are welcome to sit with me to watch one game and you can talk to me during halftime but only when the commercials are on, and only if the halftime score is pleasing me. In addition, please note I am saying “one” game, hence do not use the World Cup as a nice cheesy excuse to “spend time together”.
  • The replays of the goals are very important. I don’t care if I have seen them or I haven’t seen them, I want to see them again. Many times.
  • Tell your friends NOT to have any babies, or any other child related parties or gatherings that requires my attendance
    because:
    (a) I will not go,
    (b) I will not go, and
    (c) I will not go.

But, if a friend of mine invites us to his house on a Sunday to watch a game, we will be there in a flash.

  • The daily World Cup highlights show on TV every night is just as important as the games themselves. Do not even think about saying “but you have already seen this…why don’t you change the channel to something we can all watch??”, the reply will be: “Refer to Rule #2 of this list”.
  • And finally, please save your expressions such as “Thank God the World Cup is only every 4 years”. I am immune to these words, because after this comes the Champions League, Premier League, Italian League, Spanish League, etc etc.

Thank you for your co-operation.

Regards,
Men of the World

what kind of world is this turning into?!! (part 2) -.-

Thursday, June 8th, 2006

I’m in a TEENY bit cultural shock this week.

Why?…well…

  • That day, my 12-YEARS-OLD cousin sis gave me a VIVID & DETAIL reccomendation to an online game she’s playing…oh, & asked for my MSN address too.

Comments:

Yes, i’m presuming the next time i meet her, she’ll probably have started her personal BLOG, selling stuff in EBAY & maybe operating her own ONLINE company…-.-

  • Then, i found out that my 4-YEARS OLD cousin sis’s favourite song is cao ge’s "SUPERWOMAN" (psst…she can memorize the whole song) & any JOLIN TSAI’s songs…=|

Comment:

Next time just buy pop albums for your toddlers cousins for birthday. Children songs and nursery rhymes?…nah, too childish!

And, to add icing to the cake…

  • TODAY, my 13-YRS-OLD ex-student jz sms to inform me of her change of phone no yet again ( probably the 3rd or 4th time since end of last year) and when i asked her hows her holiday…

"A little boring lar…coz have to WORK mar …"

Comment:

OH…she did invite me to her place of work, if i’m free…very thoughtful =)

SO, i’m kinda in a dilemma now…

i’m in the midst of wondering why i’m finding all these a bit not normal…=>

is it bcoz i’m getting…older?…or am i getting younger? ;p

Spotting of Unidentified Funny Object(U.F.O)! Happenings_003_3

Found Panda playing very happily with THIS ball-like object this morning.

Nobody knew where it came from.

Nobody gave it to Panda.

But everybody saw the Monkey who always ‘parol’ my housing area visited my house today…=.=

GOSH!…

A monkey brought a ball for my dog? =|

What kind of world is this turning into?!!

X-Men 3 v Da Vinci Code

Monday, June 5th, 2006

Few reasons why i prefer X Men 3 more than DV Code : -

  • The CAST

Da_vinci_code_3THis is wat we got for DV Code…

I know…

aren’t the most interesting characters…

RIGHTO? =|

AND….

THESE is wat we got from X MEN …

  Storm   Bobby_and_kitty    Angel                                              Kid_omega_2   Cool_1

AND we even have some Chinese Representatives, like KID OMEGA - the porcupine thing above *.* and the cool girl Psylockefirst from the right below…with purple hair

                   Baddies3_1

  • The PACE

O K… DV Code’s a BIT s-l-o-w for me…X MEN not really THAT fast too…but at least they got some really cool fighting scene like…

Ice_and_fire_1The IceMan against THe Fire-guy

Nice to see Bobby(The Iceman) actually fighting with confidence…

you know, he alwiz look kinda scared…;p

But love the twist at the end of this fight…*thumbs up*

  • The SUPERNATURAL POWERS

I dunno…there’s just something about seeing 2 ppl with supernatural powers fighting each other which is very enthralling…haha….i like ARcliGHT ( the 3 girl pic, the girl on the left) power though…SHOCKWAVES…cool…

And…i think ANGEL kinda look like some Greek God…Angel2 …righto? ;)

But of course, to be fair to DV Code…: >

For GORINESS, the Silas’s torturing himself scene will win hands down…VERY QUITE THE REALISTIC…-.-

So conclusion…if u like conspiracy type of movie, watch DV CODE…if u’re like me, simple minded and just want to be entertained, well, X Men should do the job…;)
