THinking out of the box
Something worth reading…:)
It’s from an email by my fren…
Thinking Outside The Box. . .
You are driving down the road in your car on a wild, stormy night,
when you pass by a bus stop and you see three people waiting for the bus:
1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.
Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car?
Think before you continue reading.
This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.
You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and
thus, you should save her first.
Or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back.
However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.
The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with his answer.
He simply answered:
"I would give the car keys to my old friend and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind, and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams."
^_^ anybody thought of that?

i don’t like the answer. try to think about it,wat is the question asked?the question is asking “which one wld u choose to offer a ride to?” the question is not asking “wat wld u do to these 3 ppl?”
(no offence ya to “This Type” of ppl) :p
Logically everyone will try very hard to choose one out of the three coz the question is asking “choose ONE to offer a ride to”.
Eventhough the answer given by that guy may seem “WOW” but for me i think he didn’t answer the question.
That guy,had actually offered “his whole car to TWO persons”
The company is so cunning in coming out this type of question and is oso dumb enough to hire that guy.
His answer may be different but Please… answer the question for God sake….
Hmmm..honestly i don’t like this type of ppl too…

LOL…in a way, the so cunning company who came out with that question DID actually find the so cunning guy that they wanted to hire…:)
though he doesn’t answer the question, as u rightfully pointed out…but i guess this is part of the thinking out of the box thing rite?
i read somewhere that teachers in those mahal mahal elite school in TOkyo actually did like giving such obvious questions to look for the unconventional answer from the few unexpected students…so maybe the co is not that dumb afterall…:)
but all said, i do agree with u abt not really liking this type of ppl…haha
